1 cup flour, sifted
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Combine all the ingredients, except the powdered sugar, and mix with your hands.
Put dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Roll out the dough and form into 2-inch balls.
Put cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 16-20 minutes (they do not need to brown).
Roll once or more in powdered sugar.
