Pumpkin Cake

This is from my Aunt Charlene from Missouri who is one of the best cooks I’ve ever know. This is good at Thanksgiving or anytime!

Ingredients

  • 1-can of pumpkin
  • 4-eggs
  • 1-can evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1 t ginger
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 cup whipped cream

    Directions

    1. Beat First 7 Ingredients
    2. Pour into 9 X 13 greased cake pan
    3. Add dry cake mix, pour melted butter on top & add nuts
    4. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees
    5. Top with Whipped Cream
