Strawberry Cake

Ingredients

  • duncan hines strawberry cake mix
  • 2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
  • small box of strawberry jello
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • enough confectioner’s sugar to sweeten to taste
  • 1 regular container of cool whip

    Directions

    1. prepare duncan hines strawberry cake mix (follow cake mix instructions, adding box of pudding mix)
    2. mix, cook (sheet cake pan), cool
    3. set cake aside
    4. prepare small box of strawberry jello. dissolve in 1/2 cup of boiling water. add 3/4 cup of cold water
    5. punch holes in top of the cooled cake, pour jello liquid over cake
      refrigerate, preferably overnight, or until jello is set


    Do not prepare icing until time to put on cake

    Icing

    1. small box of instant vanilla pudding
    2. 1/2 cup of milk
    3. enough confectioner’s sugar to sweeten to taste
    4. 1 regular container of cool whip
    5. mix pudding and milk, add sugarmixture should be sauce like (if too thick, add more milk, if too saucy pour some liquid off)
    6. fold cool whip into sauce
    7. add several drops of red food coloring
    8. ice cake


    Keep Refrigerated
