Anna Holoman’s Answer To Leftover Turkey

This recipe turns turkey into a different kind of tasty treat for holiday lunches. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 5 cups cooked turkey meat, chopped
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro (dried)
  • 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons pepper
  • a dozen dinner buns

    Directions

    1. Mix the turkey, celery, jalapeño, relish and mayo together.
    2. Add in cilantro, salt and pepper to season.
    3. Chill until serving.
    4. Serve in buns.


    You can also substitute chicken for the turkey. This makes about a dozen servings.
