Anna Holoman’s Answer To Leftover Turkey
This recipe turns turkey into a different kind of tasty treat for holiday lunches. Enjoy!
5 cups cooked turkey meat, chopped
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 jalapeño pepper, diced
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 cup mayo
1 tablespoon cilantro (dried)
2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons pepper
a dozen dinner buns
- Mix the turkey, celery, jalapeño, relish and mayo together.
- Add in cilantro, salt and pepper to season.
- Chill until serving.
- Serve in buns.
You can also substitute chicken for the turkey. This makes about a dozen servings.
