Melt in your Mouth Pineapple
This is a really easy way to enjoy some fresh fruit, with a new twist for the holidays. Stovetop Pineapple. I didn’t think I would like it, since I usually favor my pineapple nice and cold, but wow. The first time I tried it was at a local restaurant, and now, we kind of adapted our own recipe for a quick nighttime snack!
1 Whole Pineapple
½ tsp Cinnamon
- Cut pineapple lengthwise into 6 sections. Slice out flesh of pineapple and cut out core. Cut pineapple into 1" chunks.
- Place chunks into warm sauce pan.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and a drop or two of vanilla.
- Turn fruit over occasionally. Warm for about two minutes, or until carmelized to your liking.
Enjoy! You’ll never look pineapple the same old way. Works wonderful on the grill, too! Experiment with different fruit for some family fun.
