One 9-inch prepared pie crust, deep dish
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups pecans, chopped
3/4 cup flaked coconut, sweetened
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
Preheat oven to 350. Combine the eggs, corn syrup, butter, sugar and vanilla together in a mixing bowl and whisk. (Mixture should be blended well) Add pecans and coconut and stir. Put chocolate chips in layer on the bottom of pie crust. Add mixture. Bake for 1 hour. Top should be firm. Cool completely before serving.
