Michelle Obama will make her first visit to Eastern Carolina, hours before Sarah Palin campaigns in Greenville.
The wife of the Democratic nominee will make a campaign stop in Jacksonville Tuesday afternoon.
The campaign says Obama will host a community event with military families.
The event will be held at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center, 100 Recreation Lane. Doors open at noon, with the program beginning at 1:30 p.m.
The Obama-Biden campaign says those wishing to attend do not need tickets, but they are strongly encouraging people to use an on-line RSVP. To RSVP go to www.nc.barackobama.com
