It's time for the Pitt County Fair,
and news is spreading all around.
Playworld Midway is coming to town.

Excitement is in the air.
Playworld has some new rides for you
There are thrills and games for everyone.

Stroll the midway and see what's new.
Join the kids and enjoy the fun.
You'll experience acts and music that's free.

Bands, puppets, and racing pigs are just a few
of the nightly entertainment for you to see.
Wow! What a fun time we've planned for you.

We've spent all year getting things right
for a spectacular fair
with new ideas and awesome sights
to show you we really care.

To us it's all about the family,
and we plan for that in mind.
For we want your evening to be
one that's safe with a fun time.

So pack up and come on out
to the greatest county fair in the state.
Surely there will be no doubt

You've made no mistake.
Enjoy this time with family and friends
