SCAM ALERT: Fake USPS Email

If you are waiting for something special in the mail, you often look for all signs you've missed the delivery: notes on the door or notes in the mailbox. But what about an email in your inbox?

We have learned the United Stats Postal Service is warning people about fake emails circulating, telling customers they have an undelivered package.

According the the Better Business Bureau, the email will tell customers they must download an attached confirmation form and take it to the post office to pick up their package.

However that form is actually a virus that can scan a computer, looking for personal and banking information.

According to reports, this scam is not limited to the United States. Canada Post was also the target of a similar scam.
