The average price of regular gasoline has dropped six cents to $3.78 per gallon in the last two weeks. That is 12 cents less than the price was this time last year.
The price peaked this year in April and has dropped 18 cents since then. Experts said falling crude oil prices could cause gasoline prices to drop another five to ten cents in the coming weeks.
In North Carolina, the average regular gallon of gas is $3.56.
