More Car Dealerships Close

As America's "Big Three" automakers try to stay financially afloat, one of Minnesota's largest car dealers has announced he's shutting the doors.

The owner of the Denny Hecker Auto Group announced he will close six dealerships and sell three others, effective immediately.

That means pink slips for 400 employees.

We should not stop until there is an American car in every American garage from a bankrupt American company mortgaged by a bailed out American Finance Company. Interesting, have you ever seen a $60,000 dollar luxery car parked in front of a $20,000 single wide trailer? Only in America. Pride comes before destruction.

The big 3 car manufactures owned 61% of the market in 1961. Today, they are groveling for handouts. The UNIONS ruined the steel industry and now the car industry. Do we really need 7500 car dealerships in AMERICA?? UNIONS are a crutch for people who refuse to work.

Common sense isn't too far off albeit some assumption. It appears that Obama is going to be nothing more than a Clinton clone. His buddy started it.

Common sense-what planet are you from? Did you actually read what you wrote? I can't believe I breathe the same air you as you. Tell us about the tooth fairy next time, you would probably make more sense.

sounds like a scam to me, who better to strong arm our gov into giving out free money than the poor 400 layoffs, a dealer that size and proximity to detroit has got to be under the influence of the big dogs...i bet they told them to close to generate sympathy, to get the money they want out of congress
