One city in Eastern Carolina is seeing a surge in their domestic violence calls. Morehead City Police Chief Wrenn Johnson says the calls have tripled in the past 6 months, from this exact time last year. These staggering statistics came as no surprise to domestic violence Victim Janette Butler, who recently divorced her abusive husband.
