Woman Shot With Taser After Blocking Drive-Thru

Cumberland County deputies say they used a Taser on a woman who blocked the drive-thru at a McDonalds for 20 minutes after employees refused to serve her because she broke in line.

Authorities say 37-year-old Evangeline Lucca bypassed the order screen and the line at the Hope Mills restaurant, instead pulling directly up to the pick-up window Friday afternoon.

Deputies say employees told the woman they could not take her order and she needed to go to the back of the line. The woman refused to move, and police were called.

Authorities say Lucca was shocked after she blocked the line for 20 minutes. Her 3-year-old daughter was with her and was taken into protective custody.

Lucca was charged with second-degree trespass. A phone listing for her couldn't be found.

I have also refused to move from the window when they asked me to. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, after placing my order, they have the nerve to tell you to pull forward, because they are waiting on some item I ordered. When I politely said no, they started to move their butts and sure got that order fast! Sometimes you do have to stand up for yourself. If they would pay attention and listen when a customer orders (enter order in cash register)I would not have to repeat it when I get to the window to pay as well as the pick up window. (What did you order?) Unbelievable! They still get the order wrong too! Hate these places... Especially McNONserviceDonalds

Big difference; she didn't order; she just went to the head of the line to order. Also, if you 'special order' a particular thing, it does take longer. The cooks make the orders Wi-Fi now, by numbers and codes, so if you say 'No onions' on a Big Mac, for instance, they have to pay particular attention to your one sandwich until it reaches your bag. I've sat behind people who make 'special orders' for every sandwich too; I hate that. Go inside if you want to 'tweak' it all. Sounds like you need to pack your lunch.

Unfortunately there are more than a few people in this day and time that not only have feel they are entitled and above low and order but are obsessed with greed and selfishness. I'm still trying to figure out what was so appetizing at McDonald's that would cause this woman to sit at the drive-thru for 20 minutes, refused to be served by the staff and then wait until police would have to "tazz" her to remove her from the drive-thru. This woman should be tested for drugs and given a psych exam. She's crazy!!

Obviously this isn't normal behavior, she's likely on something, or has some sort of mental health issue- this isn't just being rude, but sounds like an episode of some kind. Glad the little girl wasn't harmed. Too bad she had to see her mom acting like a nut.

Probably scared to get out because she knew they would taz her. Cops are using this device WAAAY too much.

You don't have to worry about it if you don't break the law.

She was trespassing. She broke the law, and disobeyed officers. Hence the tazer.

Selfish driving and public behavior does seem to be exhibited among some groups. Perhaps it has something to do with a 70% illegitimacy rate and a resulting lack of parenting? Political correctness has become tyrrany and people are afraid to call attention to the truth about a society that aggressively supports a self-defeating subculture.

There is a national article about this incident that contains more information, including an eyewitness account. The woman refused the police's orders to move the car from the drive-thru and refused to get out of the car. When police tried to physically remove her from the car, she fought them. An officer "drive tased" her twice and then she flopped out of the car like a fish. She was then arrested and carried to jail, the child was placed in custody and police were able to move the car out of the drive-thru.
