There have been many alligators showing up in residential areas in Eastern Carolina this summer and now there's another.
Robert Arnold says a 5-6 foot alligator has been in their yard in Scranton, Hyde County all day Friday. By late in the day the gator made his way to a drainage ditch where he remains.
Arnold tells WITN he is legally blind and went into the yard not knowing the gator was there until his wife saw it.
Arnold has talked with Marine Fisheries. He says they told them they would be there Saturday if the gator doesn't leave.
