Hyde County Considers Tobacco Ban

Hyde County officials are considering banning smoking on all county-owned property.

A public hearing is scheduled at the Hyde County Commissioners meeting Monday at 7 p.m.

It is not yet clear what the punishment would be for people who violate the ordinance, if it passes.
