Terrance Copper & City Of Washington Spread Christmas Cheer

A handful of foster kids got to go on a shopping spree paid for by former Washington High School and ECU standout and NFL player Terrance Copper, and the city of Washington.

Copper was on hand with officials from Washington Police, Fire and Rescue, as well as Walmart store manager Jason Perry.

They took ten foster children shopping at the Washington Walmart and gave each a budget of $120.00.

Funding came from the city of Washington, Walmart, personal donations and Copper, who matched the city's donation.

The city of Washington and Copper had the idea to do this shop-with-a-safety officer event since the end of summer, but it wasn't until now that funding was available.
