SUNRISE: 2013 Ten Word Challenge

New Year's Eve is often a time of reflection, and that's what WITN News at Sunrise did Tuesday, albeit in brief fashion.

People were challenged to summarize their year in ten words or less and post those words to
Heather King's Facebook page.

People posted joyous moments, including new babies and new loves, along with tragic ones, including getting diagnosed with and fighting cancer. Melissa Dean Harris summed it all up in ten words exactly, saying, "Life is ever changing, strap in, hang on, and enjoy!"

At WITN, two words that could summarize 2013 are "new studio." We started broadcasting in our state-of-the-art, high definition studio in June.

Some members of the Sunrise Crew shared their ten words. Anchor Heather King's were "Sweet Baby Kate. Big Sister Lauren. WITN News at Noon."

Meteorologist Jim Howard's words were "Thankful for family reunions."

Producer Amy Holcombe's words were "New job. New house. New dog Tuffy."

How would you sum up your 2013, in ten words or less? We invite you to post them here or on
Heather King's Facebook page.
You can also read what others have posted there as well.

Happy New Year!
