Twenty-two teams competed Tuesday night in the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce Adult Team Spelling Bee at P.S. Jones School with last year's team winning again.
Potash Corporation was the only team to successfully spell the word octateuch, which means a collection of eight books; especially the first eight books of the Old Testament.
Dave Jordan pronounced the words for the event.
The chamber will us the money raised from the spelling bee for its career day program for students.
