Pirate Fans Enjoy Weather & Return Of Baseball

The warm temperatures and sunny sky Friday made for perfect baseball weather.

In Greenville at ECU, fans were taking full advantage as they cheered on the Pirates in their first game of the season.

The sun was shining, the skies were blue, and the baseball diamond was in mint condition.

Ricky Baughan said, "There's nothing better than to be out here supporting your college, being a Pirate, being a true Pirate fan, coming out here and, I played baseball all my life, so it's a true passion."

ECU'S first game of the season came just 48 hours after snow was piled up all over Greenville, and freezing rain showered over the city.

The Pirates played James Madison and won 6-5.
