The 25th annual North Carolina Seafood Festival kicks off Friday in Morehead City and the fun continues through Sunday.
Thursday all the rides were in place and ready for festival goers to arrive Friday. The stages are also set for the weekend full of music of all kinds.
While there is always plenty of seafood, one of the favorites is the chef's tent. This year they plan to have an iron chef-type competition. Festival goers will even be able to get involved in the chef's tent to judge some of the offerings.
Gates open for the seafood festival Friday at noon.
