A Raleigh woman who lost her job as a receptionist after 22 years is collecting a very big check thanks to a new game from the North Carolina Education Lottery.

Two days after she lost her job, 39-year-old Camelia McClain stopped at a convenience store and bought two $20 tickets in the $4 Million Cash Blowout game. McClain said she played the game because it was new.

One of the tickets made her the first top prize winner in the game, which launched Jan. 10.

McClain opted to claim the prize in annuity payments of $200,000 over a 20-year period. After taxes, she has received her first check for $136,006.

McClain said her family would gather as it always does and decide what to do with the money.
