Havelock Theater Damaged From Hurricane Irene Re-Opens

Cinema 6 in Havelock is back in business after being closed for months because of damage Hurricane Irene.

The theater, operated by Carmike Cinemas, re-opened Friday night.

The theater had a complete overhaul and now seats over 1,200 guests and has a state of the art sound system.

Some Havelock residents tell us it's been a long two months without a movie theater, but they're thrilled that it's re-opening just in time for the holidays.

The theater officially opened Friday at 6:05 p.m. and will be open 7 days a week from here on out.
