Greenville Man Busted For Selling Prescription Drugs On Street

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office, like many others, is dealing with more and more cases of prescription drugs being stolen or sold illegally.

Wednesday deputies arrested 55-year-old Levi Spencer of Greenville and charged him with trafficking opium and heroin. They say when they arrested him at the intersection of Dickinson Avenue and Hooker Road, he had 80 dosage units of oxycodone with a street value of $640. A drug complaint led to the investigation.

As 'pill popper' posted : I know a guy who was a pharmausitical rep. These docs. don't get hooked on the meds. they get hooked on the money. " The drug companies give ALL types of incentives for them to sell 'their' drugs........ This guy had a 4,000.00 a month - expense account that he was obligated to spend each month. That was to go to basketball games, hockey games, golf courses, the Angus Barn, maybe offshore fishing......... Baiti'n the docs. so they will sell the drugs.

Uh, what racial slurs did I use? As far as possibly being a Black Panther, that I am not, but I am honored to be compared to them. They did a wonderful job of keeping the community in check and ridding the community of filthy citizens and derailers of progress and society. What racial slurs did I use? All I see on this is site are folks claiming how blacks do not hold their community accountable, how its needs to clean up its act, etc. I commented on the guilty party and that is whom it was directed towards. We all know that this pandemic affects all races, most notoriously the white community, atleast that what majority of the police reports and articles on this site indicates. As a responsible citizen, I was attempting to remind this dim wod that this is where our community went wrong. Some things just need to be left alone. Sorry WITN that you had to remove my comment. I have constantly seen far worse, but I guess some people cant handle the truth nor want someone of my "pursuasion" to seem educated... I guess?

thankfully i was not subjected to reading your comment full of racial slurs, but where the community is going wrong, is the allowance of crime in neighborhoods. yes, people are afraid of drug dealing thugs, but by covering for them, it allows them to continue. by covering for your child because hes your child, youre enabling him to continue. by supporting a criminal because you dont want to see a black man go to jail, youre allowing him to continue. whatever the reasons people "cover" for a criminal or a user, black or white, this is where it all goes wrong. theres no accountability or consequences. dealers get taken off the street, then put right back into your neighborhood--with an eye out for who "snitched". this is a justice system FAIL. i fill out "caucasian" on my census form, but thats of no consequence. i have seen black people and white people alike ruined by drugs, and have seen black thugs and white thugs alike. if you like debate, sit around and blame. if you like a solution, start with doing what YOU can as the responsible citizen you say you are, to hold people responsible for their actions.

I have personally witnessed prescription medications destroy lives. But the addicts can not heal until theyo face the demons that cause they're addiction in the first place. The pill problem will only fixed when the people are healed spiritually.
