Gas Drops Below $3.50 A Gallon In Eastern Carolina

Drivers in Eastern Carolina may do a little extra driving this weekend, as gasoline has dropped below $3.50 a gallon for the first time this year.

Several gas stations in Washington are at $3.42, while two in Chocowinity are selling it for $3.49 a gallon.

The website gasbuddy.com says the lowest in the state is in Louisburg at $3.38, while some stations in the Raleigh area are still at $3.99.

Even close to the beach prices have dropped. The web site shows places in Morehead City selling gas for $3.54 a gallon.
