Note to people who decorate their refrigerators: It might be a good idea to stay away from the attack helicopter look.

The Herald-Sun of Durham reports that a discarded fridge decorated to resemble an Apache helicopter brought the sheriff's office bomb squad to a local landfill Thursday.

Lt. Tony Prignano says the sheriff's office was called after someone spotted the icebox, which was painted black with military-style markings and signs that referred to explosives. The refrigerator was also locked.

Using a robot, the bomb squad found no explosives inside. The appliance's former owner told police he locked it to prevent children from getting trapped inside.

No charges will be filed.

Prignano says he's not sure why the owner decided to decorate the refrigerator that way.
