A Congressman was escorted off the U.S. House floor Wednesday morning for putting on a hoodie in support of the Florida teen shot and killed.

Democratic Representative Bobby Rush of Illinois was making a statement in reference to the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

During his statement Rush removed his jacket and put on the hood of a sweatshirt he was wearing underneath.

The Speaker Pro Tempore immediately told Rush he was out of order for violating rules on wearing hats in the House Chamber.
