WITN continues to work to make witn.com informative, fresh and easy to use.
We've really appreciated your great feedback following our conversion to an HTML5 website and a new commenting procedure.
WITN's new commenting platform is called Disqus.(pronounced 'discuss')
We are so excited to share Disqus with you and allow you to share your opinions.
It’s easy to use.
Just go to the story you would like to leave a comment on. Type in your comment and hit the button "post as."
You will then have the option to sign up for Disqus or to use other platforms like Facebook and Twitter to post your comment.
To sign up for Disqus, you register with your e-mail address (any kind) and then choose your user name and password. A verification e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address. Once you click on the link in that e-mail, you should be good to go.
You may have to refresh your browser when you go to the site to sign up and the first time you try to comment.
Your comment, when posted, will go directly on the site.
Another cool feature of Disqus: if you leave notifications on, you will get an e-mail when someone replies to one of your comments. You can also turn those notifications off, so it’s absolutely your choice.
To report a comment, just hover your mouse beside the time stamp (ex. 1 minute ago). A flag will pop up so you can click on it and report the comment.
Disqus is used by many websites, including cnn.com.
Please share any feedback or questions with us at email@example.com. We thank you for your patience!
