A four pound chihuahua in Forsyth County has taken on a new role: mother to a litter of abandoned kittens.
The kittens belonged to a neighbor and needed a nursing mom. That's when three-year-old Miley leapt into action. Miley's owner said she is astounded how the kittens really take to her, even meowing for her.
Miley's owners said they really wanted her to have puppies, but because she was so small, the vet said she could never have puppies because it could be fatal.
Miley is happy to feed the kittens every hour, and even growls at the mother cat if she gets too close.
