The Children's Miracle Network "Music for Miracles" radiothon on 107.9 came to end Sunday, and Eastern Carolina and beyond opened their wallets and hearts.
According to 107.9's Facebook page, the 17th annual radiothon raise $110,001 to support the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center.
All weekend, stories of survival were shared by children and their families, in addition to the doctor's and nurses that help with those life saving measures.
