80+ Dogs Seized From Jones Co. "Puppy Mill" Start To Find New Homes

We're following the story out of Jones County about dozens of puppies rescued from an alleged puppy mill last week. Glenn and Joyce Brown face 63 animal cruelty charges.

Two dachshunds that spent their entire lives at that alleged puppy mill are now heading to a temporary home. They are just two of the more than 80 dogs seized. They met their new foster mother for the first time Monday.

At their foster home, the dogs will get used to humans and prepare to be adopted into a permanent home in the next few weeks. So far,19 of the dogs are in foster homes.

The puppies are now with the SPCA of Wake County. If you're interested in rescuing one of the dogs their number is 919-772-2326.
