New Facebook Group: Americans Against the State of the Union on the Same Night as LOST

NEW YORK (AP) -- These fans would truly be lost without their favorite TV show - and they're taking their case to the top.

Fans of the ABC series about marooned plane crash survivors fear President Barack Obama will give his State of the Union address Feb. 2.

That's the same day as the three-hour premiere of the final season of "Lost."

Twitter comments Wednesday included "Leave my LOST alone, Skippy!" and "Come onnnn, Obama..pick another day."

The Facebook group "Americans Against the State of the Union on the Same Night as LOST" asks "When will it end?" It notes that Obama already bumped "A Charlie Brown Christmas" for his Afghanistan speech in some markets.

The White House isn't saying when Obama will speak. An ABC spokesman wouldn't say whether the network would consider moving the premiere.

OSOC: sounds like a bunch of sorry excuses for you NOT to serve. Poor boy could not be a pilot so he took his ball and went home. I too will bring this up repeatedly now that the facts are out. So this might be a dying thread, but you post on many others... OSOC talks the talk, but is falling all over himself on the walk.

Sometimes, you have to work for a living. Have you ever heard of the term pilot? It is a person who operates and aircraft. The commericial and private pilots do not have to have the same testing as the military do. So if you wanted to be a doctor or nurse in the military you have other options. Also, had surgery on my left ear which subjected me to tone loss. Are you gettin this liberal ladies? Do you want my shoe size. I am so glad we have experts lie yall here to explain "how it works".

OSOC: Calling OSOC, come out and play. I know you're reading this. And it won't be for the last time. Chicken hawk.

Hmm.. I know someone who was in the Air Force and he's color blind. heh I do mean profoundly too.. like can't tell signal light colors (there are different types of color blindness).

OSOC: Don't play dumb for me or take me for a fool please. We BOTH know that there are many roles in the US military in which you can not serve due to colorblindness. However, we also BOTH know that there are many roles that you can serve in the US military WITH colorblindness. Here is but one source on this: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Careers-Military-Army-1483/color-blind-people-infantry.htm This is how my husband, who really wanted to serve was able to do so. So, I ask again, why did you not seek another role? I'll accept a reasonable explanation. But, if you continue to dodge the question, I'll follow you on every post with the same question. Since you are so keen on name calling, try this one on for size: chicken hawk.

Lisa, color blind. The USMC wouldn't take me either. Pilots have to have perfect eyesite and hearing in both services. Thanks for the compliment, coming from a liberal, its heartfelt! Now go fix George Soros a nice cold glass of koolaid! Shaken, not stirred...

OSOC: Funny that you mention "driving without vision". Is this the same type of vision difficulty that prevented you from joining the USAF? Then, for reasons unexplained by you, not join any other service after this initial roadblock? LOL. My husband could not serve in USAF either for other reasons, interestingly, he was able to then serve USMC... You post on here so much that it is incredible that you continue to walk into the same land mines. Must be that "vision" thing with you I suppose! Either that or a lack of wit. In either case it equals comedy, although at your expense. Thanks for playing. Now post away...

Let's try this again... AshleyNevada.. you probably also think the "popular vote" (we little individuals) is what elects the President. By the time they are campaigning hard to the general populus, it's already too late. Watch them, yes.. watch anyone, but what happens during the speeches isn't going to make a whit of difference at that late stage.

Lisa, then don't vote, you will be doing you country a favor. Going through life uninformed is like driving without vision. If you do not learn about it, how will you know what to do. Pick up some more koolaid while your there, you may have friends coming over later. Its cold enough today, you don't even need a refrigerator. Get informed, the internet isn't that hard to navigate.....
