Take A Look At This! Some Monkeys Bundle Up, Oranges Battle The Cold, And A Horse Loses His Tail

Monkey see.... monkey do.... monkey brrrr...

"Ben" and "Samantha" are trying to ward off the cold at the Miami Metrozoo.
You see "Ben" here trying to bundle up in burlap using it as a scarf and blanket.

Samantha shows her distaste for the frigid temps as she searches for a little warmth from the sun.

Florida has been hit by a bitter cold snap, along with other parts of the country.

Governor Crist has declared a state of emergency because of the threat to florida's citrus and berry crops.

And here's star, a michigan family's horse, suffering after someone cut off her tail, all the way up to the bone.

The thief likely cut the hair, about two-pounds worth, for money.
Star's owner says it's worth up to 80 dollars, and is used for making belts, jewelry and instrument strings.

The North family hopes the same thing doesn't happen to their pony "Bandit".
Star now has to wear a blanket and have bug spray applied because she can't swat flies away.

It could take up to 3-years for star to grow her tail back.
