McAttack!!

When employees at a McDonald's in Kansas City, Missouri reportedly messed up this woman's order...she wasn't going to take it!

Security camera video shows her throwing a bucket of mop water and a register at one of the restaurant's employees.

She then continues hurling insults and other objects at the workers.

McDonald's managers estimate the damage at around $3,000.

Fortunately no employees or customers were hurt during the attack. Police are still looking for the woman.

    I've also worked in the fast food industry (even once at McD's) and Nathan is right. Managers will push you to be faster and they don't care if you get it right. I was personally lectured because they thought I took 10 seconds more than they preferred to make sure I got it right the first time. I also have to say the Fast Food industry has a huge turn-over rate, so chances are when your order gets messed up the person who took your order was simply new. McD's also moves people around a lot, so the drive-thru person is often the grill cook or fry-girl. It's bad policy choices by management that don't allow employees to be better at their jobs. She over-reacted regardless, it's only food and it would have only taken a minute to fix. Maybe she should look into anger management, it was a trivial offense.

    As someone who has worked in fast food (over 10 years ago, but nothing's changed except the rare drive-thru screen), I hope this opens eyes on both sides. Drive-thru is the hardest position in a fast-food restaurant, no doubt about it. Plus management wants them to hurry, hurry, hurry. Orders should be read back, and if they're not, the customer should ask for it to be read back. I won't say I never made a mistake, but I will say that I was criticized more for (lack of) speed than accuracy. Keeping in mind that people stash food items in their car, then come in and say the restaurant forgot to give them something, I would say fast food restaurants are more than accommodating. If they get your order wrong, don't sweat it. Just go in and talk to somebody. If that doesn't help, call Corporate. They will send you coupons for free stuff. We had a "customer" who did that all the time. As for political joking, I suppose McCain voters wouldn't eat anywhere but the country clubs?

    T: "Like Happy Meals with no hamburger. How is that supposed to make my child happy that you only gave them fries to eat." Tose were your exact words. That sounds to me as if you didn't find out something was missing until you got home. And as far as going back thtu the line here is what I do, I will not pull foward until I get my order, PERIOD. Whan my order is finished, I will sit at the window until I check my order, PERIOD. That is why I went thru the drive thru in the first place, so I wouldn't have to get out.

    To Just Saying before calling someone an idiot read my post... no where does it say I don't check my bags.. You have to otherwise you'd get jipped everytime cause there is no double checking there by the people paid to ensure the customers get their orders right. I constantly have to either go back in if in drive thru or call it to some one's attention if inside.

    They should punish (if they find her) by working a full year/40 hour week. I bet she'd mess up more than an order or two. Maybe from stuffing her mouth with what's in the bag.

    Ms. Entitled was very lucky that a passive person was on the other side of the counter. If it has been me, the first time she threw something at me, I would have been over the cover with some item in hand and cooled her jets. You pick the behavior then suffer the consequences. Her behavior (assualt) was not acceptable under any circumstances, i.e. bad food/services. BTW, I'm a female.

    concerned citizen, Obama Snake Oil was implying that many Obama voters could easily display this kind of behavior. Many of them are un-thankful, disobedient, un-patient, want it now, blame society for their lack there of as well as structurally disarrayed. They can't stand authority and don't show respect. That's what OSO Co. was referring to here. You understand now?

    T: If you do not check your order before you leave McDonald's, maybe it is you that is an idiot. Mike: Do you have to yell and excatly what does 'OPRDER' mean? Maybe you should make sure YOU spell everything correctly before correcting others, or do you just work at McDonald's?
