Battle Of The Sexes And The Budget

If you're a woman, have you ever taken notice how the same product for a man may cost you a little more? And it's all because of the marketing.

The January issue of Consumer Reports finds items aimed at both women and men, like shaving cream, deodorant, body wash and even pain relievers and soap, can cost women more than 50 percent extra.

According to Consumer Reports, some companies do provide a decent reason, like making a shaving cream bottle rust-resistant for women to use in the shower.

But most of the time, the item for women was exactly same, maybe just a bit dresser, with an additional price tag, proving it just costs more to be a woman, if you don't pay attention.

Aunt Fannie was in the hair salon and she said women have changed for the worse. She said they need to stay home and clean house and be there for their kids and husband when he gets off of work with a hot dinner waiting. Fannie said Obama is making it harder for stay at home moms to stay at home or even have a home. The bills keep coming in. More taxes and taxes beyond much less being able to afford health insurance. Aunt Fannie was right. What a greedy selfish world we live in.

I most be one lucky guy, my wife does not go for the most expensive things. Does not go for the name brands. She does a great job at manage the finances of the home, I know I would have trouble doing it. So I'm glad that I have a women with head on her shoulder and knows how to use it.

Weaker vessel, my aunt fanny. Women are wearing all that junk (unfortunately) to impress arrogant, TAG-wearing, quadruple-blade using, Redken hair slicked, dudes that can't pry their eyes off anorexic, airbrushed models for 5 seconds and appreciate a natural beauty. Burn your Barbies girls!

Oh, that's choice. Lemme tell you something, women STILL get paid less across the board to do the same jobs as men in the workplace so don't kid yourself or anyone else! Secondly, my husband is the most expensive creature I've ever had to deal with when it comes to shopping & the household. If I let him go with me to the store it's a constant "No, no, no" all the way through the store. If I let him go alone, even with a spelled out list, he comes back with name brands and items that I did NOT say were okay to buy. It doesn't even matter if I say that precisely... "DON'T". I'M the one who has to manage the finances because he doesn't have the first clue how not to bounce charges because he has a see it, want it, buy it mentality. He also doesn't seem to understand price per pound/ounce, no matter how many times I've shown it to him. If you got a woman that doesn't know how to budget, that's your issue but don't blame all women for her weaknesses. Get help.

guess where else women cost more? in the workplace, cause in general they do less work but get paid. Where I work with violent offenders females get the same pay as male staff but we basically babysit them and they sit in the office staying safe while men do the work and take the risks. Why not stay home and shoe shop or something instead of taking jobs that they get only to meet quotas ?

It's sad how corporate sales ads target women by deceiving them into buying their product. They know women are the weaker vessel as God states in his word and take advantage of them. Men usually see the hype related to these ads claiming their product is what you need etc. etc.. Sure women need more than men when it comes to bath/body hygiene. It really doesn't have to be this way. Women are just use to having to have all the crap of the market out there. They're deceived like I said. Men can be deceived as well but women fall for more crap on the market than men do. Women, you can't live without them! God bless.

Womens' products, like shaving cream and deodorant are a bit fancier, they contain ingredients for soothing skin, etc. I could go on an on. Male products aren't like that. Shampoo in itself are targeted more for females, all pretty and such. Males are just starting to get masculine tailored shampoo products, but even those don't smell all pretty or look fancy or contain products to make our skin smooth and young looking. If women's products were really 'plain & simple' like ours, then maybe they would cost less.

Yeah,Well my(old)lady will go out of her way to buy the most expense stuff every time we go in a grocery store. It dont matter what the product is.I have to be with her every time when we get groceries or she will come back with three little bags worth about $100 and hardly any food or anthing we really need.My cousin and a couple of my friends have the same problems with thier wifes.I'm sure we are not alone. Most of them are hit with the same stick.
