Domino's Pizza Changing Recipe

Domino's has announced it's changing its basic pizza recipe.

The company will soon begin using a new crust with added butter, garlic and parsley, new shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese and a new, sweeter sauce flavored with red pepper.

The new pies will be in stores by December 27th.

The move comes as the pizza delivery business as a whole suffers through a serious downturn, and it will be just in time for the biggest pizza delivery day of the year, Super Bowl Sunday.

And here's an extra fact; a 2009 survey by research firm Brand Keys found Domino's ranked tied-for-last in consumer taste preferences.

It's just hard finding good pizza peroid. The best places are usually little hide in the wall no name places. Although the garlic butter at Papa John's is excellent.

If you are worrying about fat, grease and salt while eating pizza, maybe you need to stick with the salad. Chain restaurant pizza is not for the health conscious.

Already had one and I do not see any HUGE change! Still taste the same! They sprinkle garlic on the crust. To me this is the only change I noticed.

About time for a change, I agree the pizza as it is now is not so great. Pizza doesn't have to be the same forever, its time to mix it up and get new taste. Can't wait to try it.
