Christmas Parades Across Eastern Carolina

People gathered across Eastern Carolina this weekend for Christmas parades.

Hundreds of people lined up the streets of Windsor in Bertie County to see bands, floats, cartoon characters and of course, Santa Claus.

The Christmas spirit will be on display across eastern Carolina Saturday with parades in many locations.

Farmville's parade is set for 10:30 a.m. Beulaville's parade is at 2:00 p.m. Morehead City's parade is at 11:00 a.m. Windsor's parade steps off at 3:00 p.m. Winterville gets in the Christmas spirit with its parade at 2:00 p.m. And Kinston's parade is at 10:00 a.m.

The parades will features floats, bands, dignitaries and folks from WITN-TV.

    aurora parade is sunday at 3 btw, nice coverage of the chocowinity parade. oh wait, there wasnt any. thank goodness it didnt end directly behind your 'washington' studio or anything.

    Also come out and see the Richlands Christmas Parade, tonight at 5:30pm =) The only lighted nighttime parade in the area! Its going to be fantastic!

    Would have been a nice day for the Washington parade, but I guess the "rocket scientists" decided to have it in the rain and cold.(REAL INTELLIGENT). We won't even talk about the flotilla. Some vessel owners are still lucky they have boats. Yea, lets have the flotilla with 20-25 mph winds.
