Tongue Stuck On A Pole

A Boise, Idaho youngster gets out of a sticky situation with the help of some firefighters.

The ten year old youngster found his tongue stuck to a frigid metal pole.

Firefighters who responded to the incident freed the boy by using a glass of warm water to unstick his tongue.

And with his tongue bleeding a little, the boy was allowed to continue walking his way to school with no real damage done... except, maybe, to his pride.

Last year a ten year old boy from Hammond, Indiana, got stuck to a metal pole in a similar way.

Give me a break. It's harmless and it is funny. Probably saw the movie. I bet you laughed when you watched A Christmas Story. If that is the worst thing this kid has done I don't think that is so bad. I'm just curious why it actually took firefighters to help. It isn't rocket science.
