Man Throws Tomatoes At Palin Book Signing

Hundreds of people attended former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin's book signing at The Mall of America in Minnesota.

All was well until police say a local man allegedly threw two tomatoes at Palin while she signed copies of her book 'Going Rogue.' Bystanders pointed the suspect out to a nearby officer and police arrested Jeremy Paul Olson at the scene.

Police say the first tomato landed about '10 feet wide left' of Palin and the second hit an officer.

Olson was booked at the Bloomington Police Department on a gross misdemeanor charge of 4th degree assault on a police officer and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Ty, sincerely, thank you for serving. We can agree to dissagree on politics. That is your right. Sorry if you think the horse is dead, but as long as this government continues heading in the direction it is, I will refine my typing skills. By the way, again, I am a conservative democrat and you of course see and read what I post. Now, where does that put you again?

Wow, the assumptions ya'll leap to! 1. I am a Republican. 2. OSOC can type "60 wpm" all he wants, but anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that he lives on this board and is beyond redundant. The horse died, was buried, rotted, stinks, fertilized flowers, the flowers bloomed, died, and have yielded another crop and OSOC keeps writing the same drivel. 3. Anonymous at 3:13 am, thank you for your service. The rest of you chicken-hawks: I am a 33 year old, 15 year vet of the US Army that has been deployed four times to Iran & Afghanistan since 2002. I have done this proudly. Spare me your tough talking sermonizing and actually do something for the US other than typing on a keyboard! 4. OSOC writes of the "silent majority", this term has been around since Nixon! Buy a new idea somewhere OSOC, please. The majority vacillates as has been evident since the dawn of poliitcs. This "silent" majority has never been "silent". Neocons like OSOC do more bad than good for our party. They are poor reps for us.

I can tell all of you bleeding hearts what 90% of you will do. After 911 90 % of Americans (conser., libs, ind,) were saying 'find out if there are more attacks coming; even if you have to pull their fingernails'. Then along came obama & co. and talked many into drinking the koolaid. Now your heart bleeds for the ones that would cut off your head in an instant. But guess what bleeding hearts; WHEN the next attack comes at your back door as it did on 911 you'll be crying the same old tune you did before. 'Do whatever it takes'. Pathetic. JMO

TY the worlds full of contadictions. For example certain segments of the population were all up in arms about the waterboarding thing which to be frank as a Marine I took more abuse than that getting promoted. Yet when it comes to sucking the brains out of a viable unborn baby you liberals are good with that.

Ty, what are you talking about? I, as well as MANY others, believe the same as OSOC, and I'm neither rep. or dem. I still think for myself and also reject lib, bleeding heart ways. Turning your gun into a plow is a thing of the past. Help yourself, but I guarantee the ones that do so will be on the losing end when all is said and done. As I have said before; God did not put me on this Earth to be a sheep of obama(which is what obama and his admin wants), or ANY man; and before that happens, I will excercise my right granted to me by the Declaration of Independence. For you younger people that were fooled and sheltered by liberals and don't know what the Declaration is; look it up, maybe you'll learn some TRUTH.

Will thank you Ty, obvously, it bothers you that I post "against" liberal hooey, like your post. There is also a trend you are not following; most republicans do not post against me. So your logic is afoul for a "republican". Glad I can type 60wpm. The silent majority, ain't silent anymore. That would be OSOC.

OSOC writes: "I am sure glad some of US can still think for OURSELVES (emhasis mine)". Then, he writes: WE don't want any of your COLLECTIVE (my emphasis, again) thinking and bleeding lib ways". OSOC- do you not recognize the inherent contradiction in your two sentences? You engage in what you accuse the other side of doing. Hello? Is there any synapse working in your mind? Given that you have made posting on this website your full time job, I would think that you would employ better logic. I suppose that you are incapable of such. Yes, I'm a Republican, and yes, I too get tired of reading your same old blithering nonsense.

Ell, really? Not to worry, we know how to spot a koolaid drinker, just look for the "party rhetoric". You know, the lies that George Soros and tells you. I am sure glad some of us can still think for ourselves. We don't want any of your collective thinking and bleeding lib ways.
