Man Scratches Lotto Ticket To Win 1 Million Dollars

A Craven County man is Eastern Carolina's newest millionaire.

Toby Eason of Vanceboro won the prize in a new scratch-off game called 200 Million Dollar Extravaganza.

The humbled Eason says he buys lottery tickets at the Vanceboro Handy Mart along highway 43 every week and was about to stop playing. The winning ticket cost 20 dollars.

He says he'll give 10 percent to the lord, get what he and his wife need, and put the rest in the bank.

Eason will get 50,000 dollar installments every year for the next 20 years.

I am really happy for you. To God be the glory for the thing he have done. According to Ecclesiates 9:11 "but time and chance happeneth to them all. It was your time to be bless. Just remember there are so many people you can and will be a blessing to by just saying are going to give the Lord 10%. That is going to encourage people to pay there Tithes. Once people start paying God there Tithes. This nation will be heal and come out of recession. I could use a nice supernatural financal blessing

Posted by: rich on Dec 3, 2009 at 09:52 PM I really hope..........you cut that cashier that sold you that in on a little bit. WHY??? THE CASHIER WASN'T LOOKING TO HELP HIM OUT THE CASHIER WAS JUST DOING THEIR JOB. THE LORD IS THE ONLY ONE HE NEEDS TO CUT IN. Don't try to make this out to be something it isn't. The owner of the store gets a cut of the lottery anyway and the owner is the one that should (if anyone) give the cashier anything. [ Report Abuse ]

If he can afford 20 dollar ticket he must not be hurting for money. When he says Lord does he mean the church or charity?Congrats anyway.

If the cashier wants a cut, he should have bought the ticket himself. That's kind of a crazy comment. Geeze...
