McCain: Obama Has Not Brought The Change He Promised

Sen. John McCain says Americans are in the toughest times he can remember and that President Barack Obama hasn't brought the change in Washington that he promised.

McCain spoke at a town hall Friday to a couple hundred people in a Mesa church, reiterating many of the same points he's made in recent similar events.

McCain criticized Democrats' plan to create a government-run insurance option to compete with private companies and expensive pet projects by individual lawmakers.

McCain says everyone in the audience must know someone who has lost their home or job, adding that "Americans are angry and have every reason to be."

One audience member shouted back, "You bet we are!"

Kathy, you need to learn what this change that Obama speaks of is based on. Google three things, "Cloward and Piven", "the shadow party" and "George Soros". If you read Obamas book, astounding parallel to what he is doing, like stimulus, running large debt, healthcare and additional stimulus. If this doesn't scare you with this truth, nothing will. Obama is a pawn to George Soros, that is why the media leaves Obama alone, George will go after them.......

I TOLD YOU SO!!!! During the election I tried tp tell everyone what kind of mess Obama would do and now you can see for yourself! OH.... McCain and Palin would have been GREAT as President and Vice President, especially compared to the dummy we have now!!! Now all we can do is try to get the liberal democrats out (and they are going to go) and try to CHANGE the mess Obama has already made!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

TO Anti-Terrorists, you have a good point but I rather him takeover nearly every private sector that drives ~3/5s of the GDP then to spend billions of dollars on a war to stop terrorism. Can you really stop someone from strapping a bomb on their back to blow up things? Good luck with that one! I'm a bigger person because I'm not going to call you names! Like I said before we need to grow up in America! This country still have a long way to go concerning RACE!

I am deeply troubled about our country as many Americans are. We have had so many serious problems in the last few years. I listen to FOX and other News outlets. I well understand the outcry from our citizens. Everyone seems to have a serious complaint, but who has the answers. No one ideology ever is good for our country as history has revealed. We need some patriots.Capitolist they have a concern for our country and workers that have a desire to be as productive as possible without making unreasonable demands. These are only two areas where We the People could make changes.Things in this country will only come about whem we start pulling together. No amount of legislation will ever do it.I really pray for our country and hope everyday that things will change as I do think we are the best.I love the USA and want the best for all it's people.I firmly believe in "do unto others as you would have them do unto you?"It is a productive way to get through life."

Anonymous on Nov 7, 2009 at 01:43 PM ..You accuse Obama of being pro-abortion.McCain supported Roe vs Wade and Palin walked out on a state that has one of the most abortion lenient laws in the Union. She refused to hear arguments to change abortion laws when they were to be brought to the State of Alaska. The Republican Contract to America puposely omitted "religious" issues such as abortion as most politicians feel this is an issue of lesser importance.I am against abortion, but I feel there is no one that will ever approach an election with a true pro-life stand, always hiding behind the idea that we must respect the law as Roe/Wade protects a woman's right.

isit2012yet? on Nov 7, 2009 at 09:08 PM ...there are a lot of right wingers that feel the same way about the McCain/Palin ticket.Look at where that has gone to.I hardly see blasting a Dem alone for these two that coudn't pull and stablize their own party.
