Governor Perdue Set To Visit Eastern NC

For the first time since she took office as governor, Beverly Perdue will speak at the Global TransPark board meeting in Kinston.

Perdue will speak Tuesday morning about her expectations for the TransPark to assist in building North Carolina's aerospace economy. Also attending the meeting are Transportation Secretary Gene Conti and Commerce Secretary Keith Crisco.

As of last year, the state-owned industrial park had received more than $80 million in state and federal funds since it was created in 1991. It was meant to spark the economy of eastern North Carolina.

I want to know the facts. Amount of money given to the GTP since 91 and the amount made by the GTP today. I feel sure no one on the planet knows or wants to know those numbers. Is she does not ask for them. She is one of the coverup people. We are being taken for a political ride such as never seen in NC.

I have to work for a living to pay my taxes, so will someone please ask Bev when the GTP will actually start paying it's own way and not be a money sponge. Buzz-
