Come Back And Your Dog Will Be Put To Death!

A Pomeranian has been kicked out of a Colorado resort town after getting in trouble for biting and other bad behavior.

Municipal Judge Brooke Peterson told the dog's owner, Melinda Goldrich, that if the dog is seen again in Aspen, it will be rounded up by animal control officers and put to death.

Goldrich was in court Wednesday on a charge of keeping a vicious dog.

An Aspen fitness club employee says the Pomeranian, named Gizmo, bit her in August while it was tied to a fence. The dog served 10 days in an animal shelter.

Goldrich had been under a court order to not leave Gizmo unattended after the dog bit another person in February. She also was cited in 2006 for the animal's bad behavior.

An out-of-town friend has offered to take the dog.

Pomeranians are long-haired and small, typically 3 to 7 pounds.

Okay...as an owner of two pitbulls that have been raised responsibly, I would like to see a ban on all lil' fluffy "ankle-biters". Jus cause they're cute, doesn't mean they're not vicious. Anyone ever have a chihuahua? I did and i'll take my pit anyday over those dogs. Our chihuahua attacked ppl on the way OUT of the house and he did not quit until he got sneaker tread or skin.

Lets see everyone get in an uproar about this dog biting people. Because it is a little fuzzy dog people don't seem to care as much when they bite someone. Where is the outrage. If it was a Pitt or Rottie it would have been put down the first time it bit.

People need to teach their dogs as well as their children some type of manners and respect. The judge is right.

I get that the dog is obviously nippy and the owner needs some training but the person who got bit at the resort seems dumb. If the dog was tied up... how did they get bit? Makes me think they went up to a strange dog which really is kind of dumb.
