Teen Sentenced To Prison In Sexting Case

An 18-year-old charged in Vermont's first "sexting" case has pleaded guilty to reduced charges and is going to jail for three months.

Isaac Owusu, of Morrisville, was sentenced to up to two years in prison Thursday, but he'll serve 90 days after pleading guilty to two counts of committing a prohibited act and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct.

Owusu was accused of directing two teenage girls to videotape or photograph themselves performing sex acts and send the results to him in December.

Sexual assault charges originally lodged against him were dropped as part of the plea, as were two counts of promoting a sexual recording.

The deal was offered in part because the state Legislature recently passed a law decriminalizing sexting.

Hey anonymous, either you have information the rest of us don't have or you are making stuff up. P.S. It's "going" and "their" and your grammar is atrocious.

Good. This pervert gets what he deserves. THe parents should also be charged. They buy the kid a cell phone and look what he does with it. I won't rest until this entire family and the girls involved are doing hard time in federal prison. Let's keep the perverts away from society. Thank you.

This is just stupid. If they are gooing to lock him up for this what about the two girls committing these immoral acts. These two lezbos done this on there own free will. It would be different if he done this secretly, hiding in the closet or somewhere.I wonder if the judge was ever a teenager or a 40year old virgin. Sounds like he's jealous to me.

Yeah. Thats justice. Spend money and resources on this... something that we'd all do at that age. More government involvement.
