And Baby Makes 19!

Michelle Duggar says she's pregnant again -- with her 19th child.

The Arkansas woman and her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, are featured with their family on TLC television's "18 Kids and Counting." Michelle Duggar says they pray that the show encourages families to "enjoy children while they have them and realize that they are a gift from God."

Duggar says when she learned of her latest pregnancy, she shouted, "Thank you, Lord. Here am I -- 42, thinking my baby days are over -- and you've blessed us with another one."

The announcement of the Duggars' 19th child comes as their oldest, 21-year-old Josh, is about to become a father himself next month. That child -- a girl -- will be about five months older than her future aunt or uncle, due March 18.

What exactly is the "right" way to raise children? Parading them around on a reality show?

They are supporting themselves and their children and I applaud that. If they couldn't there would be a definite problem but they are raising their children right which is a lot more than some people can say!!

hey, it does'nt bother me any. . .I hope they don't keep on having babies until they have one that is not so healthy. That would definitely cause a lot of changes in their happy little world. Sometimes there is a stopping point.

It's obvious that they are getting some kind of money from doing the show. But, I think that they were self sufficient before. They own several commercial properties that they lease out. I have watched the show and the children do not seem to want or need for anything. They seem to be very well mannered, healthy kids. HOWEVER, it is somewhat "cultish". What I do like from watching the show is, they are teaching their children about God and values.

These people have to be on public assistance. There is just no way any one could feed, clothe, and provide healthcare for that many people. I am sure they have not thought of college for their kid's either.

How do they afford this. What does the husband do for work?

There shouldn't be a law against that as long as the children are taken care of. As far as i know they are NOT on public assistance and they are maintaining. So i say do their thang.
