Manslaughter Investigation Targets Jackson Doctor

Michael Jackson's personal doctor is the target of a manslaughter investigation into the singer's death.

A search warrant filed in a Houston court Thursday allowed authorities to seek evidence of whether Dr. Conrad Murray committed manslaughter.

Murray is the cardiologist who was with Jackson when he died June 25.

Los Angeles police and federal drug agents used the warrant to seize items Wednesday from Murray's clinic in Houston.

The doctor's lawyer previously indicated authorities were seeking a manslaughter probe, but the warrant marks an official confirmation of the investigation.

So I guess the next time a drug addict dies of a prescription overdose, the family will run out and sue the doctor that wrote it?? This is just unreal.

We should all keep our opinions to ourself until the president decides to make a comment on another police matter. After all he knows very little about a whole lot but can "stupidly" make comments about everything.

The way I see it, no matter which doctor was giving him the drugs & sleeping meds they aren't to blame. Micheal would of gotten them no matter what, money talks. He was a druggie and that is that. One druggie gone and millions more to go.

please just let the king of pop rest in peace. he is gone now and trying to find out what happened now is just a waste of time. nothing will bring him back now. RIP Micheal

I like MJ when he was young black singer & dancer. Before he got a white face.

For starters, MJ's doctor was not a board certified cardiologist...he was making 150K a month...no wonder he gave MJ what he wanted. The family wants to blame everyone else instead of the guilty party. They were enablers to say the very least. Had they of intervened early, MJ might still be alive now and doing his tours in good health. We all make choices and his were not wise ones. But, blaming someone else (and i admit the doctor should be charged as you take an oath to DO NO HARM and a deaf/dumb person could both see and tell that MJ had major addictions and that by providing numerous narcotics under numerous aliases = death of MJ. RIP Personally, I will be glad when I can turn on the tv or pick up the newspaper and not have to hear about this never ending soap. I enjoyed michael during the 80's but like all the media has said...when he had that pepsi accident, that was his downfall.

I thought they were sure it was his dermatologist and now they're ransacking his cardiologists home. Sounds like a witch hunt trying to place blame on a drug addicts death when it was his own fault.

Family needs to quit trying to BLAME SOMEONE FOR HIS DEATH. He did it himself, when He kept taking drugs. No amount of money from suing is gonna bring him back. Let the poor man rest in Peace.Putting someone in Jail is not gonna let mend ur broken lost in ur heart.
