Man Drags SC Officer During Stop

Authorities say a Lenoir, NC, man faces 10 counts of assault with intent to kill after dragging a Myrtle Beach police officer during a traffic stop and ramming into other cars to try and get him to let go.

Jail records show 25-year-old Clark Tuttle remains at the Horry County jail Saturday.

Police told The Sun News of Myrtle Beach that an officer pulled over Tuttle on Ocean Boulevard on Wednesday.

Authorities say Tuttle drove off with the officer still holding the driver's side door, then rammed four other vehicles, trying to get him away from the car.

Police say they had to shoot Tuttle with a Taser to subdue him.

Tuttle says his son is a college student who has never been in trouble before.
