Vick Released From The Falcon's Coop

Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said the team
relinquished its contractual rights to Vick on Friday.

"Michael remains suspended by the NFL," Dimitroff said. "However, in the event NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides to reinstate Michael, we feel his best opportunity to re-engage his football career would be at another club."

The move was no surprise.

Owner Arthur Blank has said Vick would not return to the Falcons.

Goodell has not committed to reinstating Vick after the quarterback completes his 23-month sentence on July 20 for running a dogfighting ring.

Tara: I prefer my animal friends over most humans. My animal friends do not lie to me, they will not stab me in the back, even when I fuss at them they will return, if I forget to feed them they do not rebel, an animals love is unconditional unlike a humans (all humans place conditions on love), even in marriage.

Vick supporter: maybe he should have eaten the dogs rather than wasting the meat. Tara: Yes I get it: He can mistreat animals as much as he likes as far as you are concerned.

Are You kidding.... If we could get you people to care as much about human lives as you do animals..this world would be great. Too bad a dog gets better treatment than some humans!!! I say play ball VICK.. At least he's not mounting the dogs on his mantle after he KILLS THEM !! (Get it???)

Way to go Falcons owner Arthur Blank! He was released by the Falcons today after numerous attempts to trade him failed, I don't think any team in the NFL wants someone like this representing them. Maybe commissioner Roger Goodell will also be smart enough to know the majority of NFL fans don't want him back. Find a new career Vick.

I am pretty sure he would be booooooed on the field. Just because you are a highly paid athelete, doesn't mean you are above the law. This will haunt him everywhere he goes since too many fans are dog lovers.

Your going to be straight Mike, people have done less for more, people eat animals everyday and hunt them...now the falcons cant hold onto your contract so you can resign with another team.

I bet Dallas or Oakland would take him in a minute. But, woe unto the team that takes this fool.

Even though he committed a terrible crime, some NFL team will pick him up and he will play again. He does not deserve to play again, but he will become a moneymaker for those we are willing to pay for him.
