Visitors to a famous North Carolina lighthouse will be given a unique opportunity to view it from the inside.
Officials from the National Park Service are offering two full moon tours of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on Sunday evening.
Rangers will tell stories about the lighthouse's history as climbers navigate its 257 steps using flashlights. Visitors will view the light in motion once they reach the top.
Each tour is limited to 30 people. Admission fees are $7 for
adults, $3.50 for children under 11 and seniors over 62.
