Bride Brings Wedding To Father In Hospital

Spring is a favorite time for weddings, but for one couple, the nuptials had to be moved to an unusual location.

Lynn Sokol and Keith Kimmons chose to exchange their vows at a hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Sunday, so the father of the bride, who had recently had emergency open-heart surgery, could take part in the ceremony.

The mother of the bride said there was no way her daughter could marry without her father present.

The happy couple posed for pictures with their wedding party, happy for their special day and happy that the father of the bride is in good condition.

Congrats to the happy couple. The parents of them both should be proud of the great job they did raising compassionate, loving children. Hope they will live a long, happy life together.

I agree with Sheri. We need more people with a heart like this bride in this "sad" world we live in today.
