NC Furniture Store In National Spotlight For Race-Based Commericals

A North Carolina furniture store is in the national spotlight for race-based commercials.

The Red House furniture store in High Point has a simple message, and the commercials have gone viral.

The message is: Doesn't matter if you are black, white or hispanic. Their furniture is for you.

I am a PROUD AFRICAN-AMERICAN, and I am offended by this racist commercial that makes fun of blacks. When will this oppression end? When will we no longer be belittled by the white authority? It's bad enough that we've been held down for centuries by the white man. Now WE HAVE TO BUY HIS FURNITURE TOO? I intend to get the NAACP on this.

I find it very funny and I bet you won't forget about it. Thats what the point is. To be silly so people remember you. I bet their sales are going up unlike the furniture places here who have going out of business sales. To open up 2 weeks later under a different name but with the same employees.

Virtually all commercials are race based now. Blacks always fill the role of the person who is on the ball and white males almost exclusively occupy the role of the idiot. White males are portrayed as dupes and dopes who couldn't find their butt with both hands. In the governments politically correct but reality challenged anti-prescription drug abuse ad, the street corner drug dealer is portrayed by a white guy. Hmmmm, that's not reality anywhere I've seen a drug dealer on a street corner. How are these young people supposed to really get the message from such an ad when the have to use their immagination extensively to bring the situation close to anything they know as reality. Immagine what would happen if an advertisor used a black man as the nitwit in an ad and portrayed all sharp, witty and knowledgable people as white. Al Sharpton would go on a speaking tour and make millions on the flak.
